We are thrilled to announce the official launch of CertifiedPayrollPro. After months of development and beta testing with contractors across the country, our platform is now available to everyone. Here is a look at the features we are launching with and why each one matters.
Lydia Compliance Assistant
Lydia is our built-in compliance assistant, designed specifically for Davis-Bacon and prevailing wage compliance. She can answer regulatory questions in plain English, help you interpret wage determinations, and guide you through complex scenarios like multi-project overtime allocation or apprentice ratio calculations.
Lydia is available from any screen in the application. Just click the assistant icon and ask your question. She provides answers with regulatory citations so you can verify the guidance independently. Lydia is included in all paid plans at no additional cost.
SAM.gov Integration
Keeping wage determinations current is one of the most error-prone aspects of certified payroll. Our direct integration with SAM.gov (the System for Award Management) automatically pulls the applicable wage determination for each project based on location and project type.
When a wage determination is updated, CertifiedPayrollPro notifies you and highlights any rates that have changed. You can review the updates and apply them to your project with a single click. No more manually searching SAM.gov, downloading PDFs, and comparing rate tables line by line.
Multi-State Prevailing Wage Support
Many of our beta users told us they work across state lines and need to track both federal Davis-Bacon rates and state prevailing wage requirements. At launch, CertifiedPayrollPro supports prevailing wage laws across all states that have them.
When you create a project, the platform automatically identifies whether the state has its own prevailing wage law and, if so, applies the higher of the federal or state rate for each classification. This is particularly important in states like California, New York, and Illinois, where state rates frequently exceed federal rates.
The multi-state engine also handles reporting differences. Some states require specific forms or additional data fields beyond the federal WH-347. CertifiedPayrollPro generates the correct forms for each jurisdiction.
Spanish Language Support
Construction is one of the most diverse industries in America, and a significant percentage of the construction workforce is Spanish-speaking. We believe language should not be a barrier to compliance or to using the tools that support it.
CertifiedPayrollPro now offers full Spanish language support throughout the application. Users can switch between English and Spanish at any time. Employee-facing features, notifications, and reports can be generated in either language. Lydia can also answer questions in Spanish, making compliance guidance accessible to more of your team.
We plan to add additional language support in future updates based on user demand.
Eight Payroll Provider Integrations
Manual data entry is the enemy of accuracy and efficiency. At launch, CertifiedPayrollPro integrates with eight popular payroll providers:
- QuickBooks Payroll
- ADP Run and Workforce Now
- Gusto
- Paychex Flex
- Paylocity
- Rippling
- OnPay
- Foundation Software
Each integration imports employee data, hours, rates, deductions, and fringe benefit contributions directly into CertifiedPayrollPro. The import process maps your payroll data to the correct WH-347 fields, and compliance checks run automatically on the imported data.
If your payroll provider is not on this list, you can also import data via CSV using our standardized template, or contact us about building a custom integration.
